Eva Villanueva

Eva Villanueva was educated at the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Arnhem, Holland. After she gained experience as a dancer with Dansgroep Krisztina de Châtel in Amsterdam, she worked as a freelance-dancer in various free productions. As a choreographer and dramaturge she joined the artistic staff of Dansity in 1998 and created pieces for companies such as Scapino Ballet Rotterdam (NL), Ballet Mannheim (DE) and Compania Cisne Negro (BR).

Pieter de Ruiter

Pieter de Ruiter studied at the Scapino Dance Academy in Amsterdam (AHK). Before founding the company Dansity in 1990, he danced with Introdans in Arnhem in Holland, the Lyon Opéra Ballet in France, and the Batsheva Dance Company in Israel. As a choreographer he has made pieces for companies including Netherlands Dance Theatre, Scapino Ballet Rotterdam, Het Nationale Ballet (NL), Ballet Braunschweig, Nationalballet Mannheim (DE) and Aterballetto (IT) and for companies in the Czech Republic and in Brazil.

In addition he teaches Ballet and Contemporary Dance and leads workshops in Choreography and Composition at a number of (inter)national dance- and theater companies, conservatories and open studios.
Pieter de Ruiter has made numerous choreographies and dance/theater productions and has won a number of awards, including the first prize at the International Choreographic Competition in Groningen, the Perspektief Award, and the Philip Morris Award for Art in the dance category.
